Hi Guys,

Does anyone also get the issue with radiobuttons showing as solid black circles in saved PDFs using NativePDF (please see attached)?  From PB 2017 up till R2, the radiobuttons look OK.  But in R3, it doesn't.  I'm running PB 2017 in Windows 8.1 Enterprise and Windows 2012 R2 (VM).  The screenshots of the radiobuttons are from a composite report.  Is there a way to make the radiobuttons NOT look like solid black circles in R3?  Please don't suggest changing the radiobuttons to a different style in the report as it is a requirement.

Thanks.

Ricardo

I would report it as a bug.

Depending on the print driver used (pdf or printer) may change the spacing between lines, the minimum dimension of printing, check, radiobuttons etc..

I don't see it as a problem, but it would be necessary for the printing format to be more similar to GhostScript or Adobe PDFWrite.

Thanks Guys.  As I've mentioned, it was OK in R1 and R2, but NOT in R3.  But it's always an issue when the report is saved using GhostScript.  I've just reported it as a bug (Bug 1952).

Cheers.

Ricardo

Why is it important that the radio button is a solid circle or circle with some white space? Under both examples it is clear it is radio button and it is clear which one is selected.

No it's not important. The report is supposed to reflect the data entry screen as close as possible. It was already showing as solid black circle in GhostScript, so we were happy that the radiobuttons were showing correctly in R1 and R2 when saved as NativePDF. Then R3 came and were surprised that it's no longer rendering the radiobuttons as WYSIWYG.

Hi Ricardo;

  FYI:  I get this RB drawing behaviour whether I use GhostScript or NativePDF to generate the PDF file. Looks like this might be an issue with the DWO and its rendering beforehand vs the PDF build mechanism.

     I think that Roland is correct ... please open a bug report for this issue.

Regards ... Chris
