Hi Appeon,

This has been the 2nd time that we experienced this error:

I've tried the solutions posted but nothing resolves this error except reinstalling. I cant reinstall the Powerserver every time we experience this error.

What might be causing this? I believe that I didnt changed any setting on the server when I install powerserver on it.

Thanks!

Hi Lemuel,

It seems an IIS setting related issue, please refer to the attached document to solve the issue.

Hi Zhao,

What's interesting with this is that, after activation of the powerserver, we leave it as it is. Then after few days, the error will return again. How can I prevent this error from happening again?

Hi Lemuel,

Is your machine restored regularly? Do security policies, tools, or applications modify IIS-related Settings?

We have customer reporting case where other applications affect PowerServer. Some applications/services (Google Analytics, Tomcat, etc.) consume 80% CPU/memory, which triggers the resource recovery mechanism of IIS. As a result, the Appeon session got lost. However, the Appeon server works well when those applications/services are stopped. Therefore in order to avoid those issues, please do not install too much software as such.

ZhaoKai
