ps - re:

1. Verify your ZIP is not corrupted after download by verifying the SHA256 hash value equals: 3dd93d21b749fbd911b0084219982ca029d5150cbcc7742d7e0e7a2d9e4c567d

my SHA256 has for  PWRBLDR-2017R3LTS-MR02-1880-STD-EN.zip is coming back as the below, which matches above:

Algorithm Hash
---------     ----
SHA256    3DD93D21B749FBD911B0084219982CA029D5150CBCC7742D7E0E7A2D9E4C567D

thanks, jt

Gents  - update, in spite of my last success in comment "hi guys, yes I do have the 1858 version installed..." 2/6, running into same thing again (mismatch on .tmp files with .cab .tmp files, see first attachment) on a different machine, with same download/build that (finally) succeeded on the two other machines. Attachment shows the SHA-256 hash value of the setup.exe.  I only post this to show what fickleness this install seems to have. It may yet succeed like it did on the other two machines, who knows.  I don't understand why the install is checking a .tmp file against the .cab file...never saw such a thing. Thanks.

hi again Chris, well I have tried the download a couple times. FYI the zip file/size I'm getting is:

PWRBLDR-2017R3LTS-MR02-1880-STD-EN.zip   374,244 kb

...is that the size of zip you are getting?  I have opened it up and it has setup.exe, etc, which I have run as admin but I get the same errors on the .tmp files. Never saw anything like this. Thanks.

FWIW: I always download the entire ZIP file and then run the install in ADMIN mode.

That is the correct file you downloaded, but make sure two things:

1. Verify your ZIP is not corrupted after download by verifying the SHA256 hash value equals: 3dd93d21b749fbd911b0084219982ca029d5150cbcc7742d7e0e7a2d9e4c567d

2. Verify that you have PB 2017 R3 installed on your system. This is an maintenance release (MR) so it installs over the base PB 2017 R3. The build # for the base PB 2017 R3 is #1858.

Hi John;

  I have one W10 PC now installed with MR01 and the process  went smoothly. I wonder if your ZIP install file was downloaded OK. Maybe try another down load?

  FWIW: I ran my install in ADMIN mode.

Regards ... Chris
