I uninstalled PB2019R2.
I installed PB2019R3.
I migrated my code, and it worked cleanly.
I then got the DLLs out of the bug fix folder 19.2.0.2670_DLL and copied them into my C drive, on top of their respective files. Specifically, the DLLs copied were both the 32 bit and 64 bit versions of:
PBRibbonBar.dll
pbtheme.dll
PBVM.DLL
Then when I attempted to start PBv2019R3 I got this error:
Naturally, the pbsys.dll is nowhere to be found among the installed runtime files.
I reverted to the baseline DLLS and PB started up. The guilty party was PBVM.DLL.
HOWEVER, in the System Tree the Workspaces and targets are no longer displayed.
I uninstalled and reinstalled R3. It made no difference.
Ideleted the pb.ini file. No difference.
I tried VIew / Layours / Default. No difference.
HOW CAN I GET THE SYSTEM TREE BACK TO NORMAL???
Thanks,
Olan
That file was there, but the error msg is asking for pbsyS.dll and I could not find that one anywhere.
Anyway, I gave up on using the bug-fix DLLs and re-installed R3. However, now the SYSTEM TREE is not showing workspaces of targets, and I cannot get a workspace/target to open correctly. How can I restore the system tree?
I do not see any PBSYS.dll for PB2019Rx on my PC's ... only for PB2017R3 (last version - PBSYS170.dll).
