I'm testing the WebBrowser control in PB 2022 Build 1892.

Clicking this link on the web page causes a separate window to appear with DocumentationNotice.html in it. My question is, is this popup window part of the WebBrowser control or is it opening a browser (I have Edge/Chrome/Firefox) in some kind of clean mode (no toolbars or tabs)?

Hi Roland;

   It's the built-in control just opening another dialog within your PB app.

Hi Roland

I'm also testing out the the PB2022 web browser. Only just saw this, so you've probably resolved everything, I had a similar(ish) problem

I'm converting a splash screen using OLE to use the WebBrowser control. The link to our website returns a message back to the Powerbuilder browser control through a registered event, then PB opens the link in the default browser.

The original splash screen had application icons with underlying anchor tags. I restyled them as DIVs so navigate didn't fire because the links were not real websites and the browser display went blank. PB does the necessary app navigation

Heartfelt thanks for PBSearch - it's great!

Jim
