Resolved system requirement

Please Confirm that PB2019 R3 Version will support Windows server 2022 Operating system?.

Hi Shenbagam,

PowerBuilder IDE is not supported on server OSs. The runtime does, but only up to WS 2019. Please review the system requirements here: https://docs.appeon.com/pb/release_bulletin_for_pb/Build-2670-system_requirements.html

For support for WS 2022 (on the runtime) you should upgrade to 2022 R3 (https://docs.appeon.com/pb2022r3/installation_guide_for_pb/System_Requirements.html). Please remember the IDE is NOT supported on Server OS.

If you check the installation requirements for PB 2019 R3, you'll see that PB runtime is not supported on Windows Server 2022.

"Not supported" does not a PB 2019 R3 application will not run successfully under Windows Server 2022... it may. But if there are compatibility issues, you should not expect Appeon to address them.

Please note, however, Windows Server 2022 is supported beginning in PB 2022 R1:
