Resolved Sound on Android

Can you play a sound on an Android Device (at least it works on IOS)

of_play() in the workarounds pbl 

eon_mobile_audioex leon_mobile_audioex
leon_mobile_audioex = Create eon_mobile_audioex
leon_mobile_audioex .of_play( "beep-02.wav" )

 

In the documentation i states 

"Supported on iOS device only."

But this can't be true - saw the same statement in the documentation 5 years ago.

Can anyone verify - I'll be able to  play() a sound on android using Appeon Mobile

Damn - found an Android device. DEAD AND SILENT AS THE GRAVE :( :( :( :( 

 

This is a basic functionality as "Hello World"  - can't believe it not there.

The product is SO AWESOME - and then yet.... 

 

I should like to hear about the Roadmap for Power Server Mobile 

 

Armeen plz comment on this ? 

I should like to know if PowerServer Mobile is a DEAD END

Thanks Georgios ... I wonder if the use of a .WAV file might be the issue on certain devices vs using say, an MP3 instead?

using a .mp3 file didn't change the result.

I'll create support ticket - and hope it will be targeted :)
