Hi, we are using the WebBrowser control in PB2019R3 to view PDF files.  Some of our users have asked whether they can choose where to save the file when they click the download button. I can't find a way to do that. I know I can set a download location with WebBrowserSet, but it would be better if the user was given a choice.  Is there any options that I'm missing that might allow me to do that?

Hi Daryl;

  I would suggest when you have the WB Control open in a Window that you give the App User a CB, Menu Item, etc control that allows the user to point to a download location to use. In that Folder selection dialogue when chosen, use the WebBrowserSet command to inform the WB control of that download destination. I would also save the new download destination in an App INI file for restoration to the WB control when the App is restarted.  HTH

  FWI: Personally, I do not like a built-in behaviour for this in the WB Control as many PB Apps have users working in a different language. Under PowerScript control, the App developer can adjust & control that at runtime.  ;-)

Regards ... Chris
