Hello

I just looked at the new 2025 version of PFC at https://github.com/OpenSourcePFCLibraries/2025-Workspace

But I can find the PBLs there. What I'm doing wrong?

Regards

Roy

If you do a Connect to Workspace from PowerBuilder, the IDE will create them for you.

I'll add a release with the PBLs in the zip after 2025 goes GA.  Right now we're all still playing with the beta.

on the same pfc site there's videos that'll show you how to get things with git working: https://vimeo.com/478243534 for example.

Normally the pbls are not needed, if you get the repository. In PB 2022 and later releases, pbls aren't needed to be pushed in git...

I agree. Simply I tried to give a probable clue about why they aren't in the repository...

It may be hard for some to imagine, but not every software developer is familiar with GIT or knowledgeable in using it. IMHO, not providing the PBL's for quick/easy download is only going to hasten the eventual demise of the PFC, which is a shame.

Hi John;

Excellent point. That is why I would never store my STD Framework requiring a specific SCM system to be used to get the base objects. That also goes for a solution. Only a workspace source because it only takes a minute or two to convert the WS target (via the PB 2025 IDE) into a solution if needed (super simple). That goes for the STD Framework Demo Apps as well built from the framework. ;-)

It looks like Bruce forgot to upload the PBL files to the releases tab.
