Hi Andrew,

We take this crash issue very seriously in PB 2019, but we haven’t been able to reproduce the problem you said.
Can you submit a bug in the Appeon Support System (
https://www.appeon.com/standardsupport/newbug) so that we can better track and handle this issue?

At the same time, can you provide a case that can reproduce this problem and the crash dump for us to analyze the issue?

Regards,
Ken

Hi Andrew,

In addition, it would be very helpful if you could elaborate on what controls are in this crash window, what did you do before the crash and the pattern to reproduce the crash.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Ken

It seems to crash randomly, i have tried to see a pattern. It maybe that i have tried to run it, or maybe i have just tried to close a painter - or open a new painter, or maybe i was running the app and it crashes on termination, ias i said it doesnt seem to follow any pattern. The only thing is it didnt happen with 2017 r2 which i was running before.

All I can suggest is that you raise a bug with Appeon....

Hi Andrew;

FYI: The PB IDE and PB Run-time use the PBTheme190.dll and as an FYI. the PBJSON190.dll as well - even though you are *not* using these features in your PB App. A fix for this over-head is expected in the up coming PB2019 MR due out very soon.

HTH

Hi

I noticed that the pbtheme190.dll is faulting. What theme are you using if any?

What are you doing at the time of the crash and what were you doing just before?

David
