Hi,

according to the specification of the "Theme enhancements" in PB2022 R3, a MDI-Sheet with borders between 2 and 8 pixels should have the specified number of pixels as border width:

https://docs.appeon.com/pb/whats_new/ch01s01s08.html#Theme_resize_optimization

However we encounter something different:

With the margin of each border set to 4px we still receive only 1px of border:

This is a resizeable MDI-Sheet.

We specified the following in the theme.json:

What can we do to see the 4px wide border?

Using a 4px wide border was suggested to us as a solution to another problem we encountered in PB2022 R3:

https://community.appeon.com/index.php/qna/q-a/powerbuilder-2022-r3-window-border-and-titlebar

Thank you in advance

Cheers

Thilo

Hi Thilo,

Thank you for your question. When we refer to 'border', we mean the border area rather than the pixels of the border line.

Regards,

Kitty

Hello community,

So there is no solutions to make the border line 3 pixels wide in PB2022 R3 3289 and above?

The documentation linked above states that:

"When border >= 2 and <= 8, the border line will use the specified number as the width, and the grab area will have the same width as the border line (for example, when border = 3, then both the border line and the grab area will be 3-pixel wide)."

When we set the border margin to 3 we can see a 3px grab area but only a 1px border line.

Therefore this PB2021 design can not be achieved in PB2022 R3

Or is there another setting in the theme.json other than the "border: {margin:[3,3,3,3]}" that we are missing.

Thanks :)
