Resolved PB 2019 R3 and Ascential Test

Hi

according to our tester Ascential Test doesn't recognize Tree Views (at least) in R3 Beta. Does anybody have the same problems. or know if this is fixed when PB 2019 R3 will be officially released in January?

Will there be an enhanced support for the Ribbon Bar compared to R2?

Hello Arthur,

We have already made the changes necessary to support PB 2019 R3. 

We confirmed that DataWindow support is up to date for PowerBuilder and PowerClient applications. We will certify with PowerServer 2021 as soon as it is available for testing. 

While the updates that we made to support PB 2019R3 will be part of our upcoming release AscentialTest 9.4, we can provide a beta to anyone needing the support prior to our release.

If you believe that you have found a regression, please report it to Zeenyx support as soon as possible.

Hi Arthur;

  Please report the TreeView issue to Zeenyx. They are in the midst of testing the latest R3 beta build with AscentialTest.

  As for the RibbonBar - other than the odd fix - no new major changes there. The only new minor feature that I know of the ability to now include / render an image from a PBR file.
