Hi Team,

 

We deployed our application to web recently and we are facing the following error when we try to run the application through web. We were able to connect to the database while configuring the profile.

Unable to Connect to the Database. DB Error Code: 0 DB Error Message: The type initialize for 'Oracle.DataAccess.Client.OracleConnection' threw an exception.

---------------------------

 

Couldn't figure out what's causing the issue. Can anyone help?(Please check the attachment)

Environment: Powerbuilder 2017R3

Database: Oracle 11g

Issue: Powerwebserver

Hi;

   Have you had a chance to look at the PowerServer logs when this issue happens in your Web App?

Hi,

Please provide us the following for further analysis:

1. What’s the Oracle database version and Oracle client version you are using?

2. Does the data source test successfully in AEM > Server > Resources > Data Source page?

Please note that 64-bit PowerServer requires 64-bit Oracle client and 32-bit PowerServer requires 32-bit Oracle client.

We looked into this issue. This has been fixed. We connected with Oracle Native client.
