Several weeks back I tried to log into Powerbuilder 21 on my laptop (working from home) and was told that I had no license. I cannot seem to fix this. I tried logging in today with the "No Internet" option, and on going to site https://docs.appeon.com/pb2019/appeon_license_user_guide/ch03s02.html#renewing_an_offline_license was told that the code given was gibberish. I still had my user icon in the top right hand corner (Hypnotoad is unmistakable...)

Am I doing something wrong please???

Hi,

I think you should contact support@appeon.com for this one (or maybe first speak to your appeon administrator).

regards.

Yes, you are doing something wrong.  Your license type was set by your license admin as "online".  So you cannot use this offline section to activate your license.  Assuming you have Internet connection, use the the online login screen that appears when you start PB instead of these screens that you posted.  This is the screen you should be using to login.

Appreciated, but if I tell it that I am online, it informs me that there is "No Network Connection". This is obviously wrong otherwise I would not be able to access this site...

Since you do have Internet, trust me it is best to resolve this issue instead of offline activation. Offline only allows you to use PB on one machine.

I think the reason for the error message is that your firewall or anti-virus software is blocking the request from PB to the licensing server:

Protocol: HTTPS

Port: 443

Domain: api.appeon.com and api2.appeon.com

If you still get the "No Network Connection" error, please open a support ticket.
