HELP!

I am trying  to implement PB Native source control and it is NOT working!

1.    Set up the SCC properties

2. Thanks to an article from Bruce Armstrong, I set up the Registry as follows

           SCCServerPath     C:\Program Files\Sybase12\Shared\PowerBuilder\PBNAT120.DLL

           PBNative          Software\Sybase\PowerBuilder\12.0\Native SCC

3. EVERY time I connect or APPLY, or enter PowerBuilder, I get this:

CLICK YES.

And it fails to connect:

My PATH variable:
C:\SYSAM\ua\bin;C:\oracle\product\10.2.0\client_2\bin;C:\Program Files\Oracle\jre\1.3.1\bin;C:\Program Files\Oracle\jre\1.1.8\bin;C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Windows Live;C:\Windows\system32;C:\Windows;C:\Windows\System32\Wbem;C:\Windows\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\;C:\Program Files\Windows Imaging\;C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Shared;C:\Program Files\SQL Anywhere 11\bin32;C:\Program Files\Sybase12\Shared\PowerBuilder;C:\Program Files\Sybase12\PowerBuilder 12.0;C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v3.5;C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727;C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v3.5;C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727;M:\Dev PB12\QVCS\Resources\Images;C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_45\bin;C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_45\lib;C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\100\Tools\Binn\VSShell\Common7\IDE\;C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\100\Tools\Binn\;C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\100\DTS\Binn\;C:\Program Files\Sybase12.0\Shared\PowerBuilder;C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319;C:\Program Files\Sybase12.0\PowerBuilder 12.0;

Any ideas on why it's not working and on how to fix it?

Thank You,

Olan

Couple of suggestions:

  1. Run Dependancy Walker on the PBNAT120.DLL file to see if there are missing dependacies.
  2. Run Process Monitor and then attempt to access source control.  Review the file and registry access attempts to see what may be missing.
