Hey Community!

My name is Austin and I am an IT Tech here at Ridgecrest Regional Hospital. I had recently updated a computer from win 7 to win10 with infomaker installed on it. I was able to get infomaker installed on the win 10 computer and see the databases that the owner was able to help create and build on the new win 10 computer, but when she tries to pull up a system letter so she can make changes nothing comes up. This happens with seemingly all the documents in the databases and was trying to find some way to fix this issue. I don't know how to exactly get in touch with Appeon support so I thought to make a post so I get moving in some kind of direction. Can someone please give me guidance on how to get this working on my new win 10 machine?

Hi Kathy;

   It's pretty hard to advise you one way or the other without alot more technical details about your environment & most importantly IM version & build and DBMS information.

Regards ... Chris

You can purchase a premium support ticket and get help using this link: https://www.appeon.com/premiumsupport/newticket

Or you can try the free community help here to try to troubleshoot.

Either way, as Chris mentioned, we are going to need much more info to help you troubleshoot.

Kathy -

   I'm sure you know the following, but as a reminder....

   Remember that in INFOMAKER you need to have the database profiles created, one per database. These examples are in IMv10.

   Once that has been done you need to find the PBLs that comprise the collection of reports you will be using. Open the Library Painter to find these:

   Then, and only then, select the PBL you want to work with. Then Right-click on t hat PBL and select the "Set as working directory" option.

   NOW you can access the reports in the right pane by doiuble-clicking on the desired object.

Later -

Olan
