Hello, we would like to run some test performance against Azure and see what our threshold for one server would be as well as test the database performance.

How do I set run mode for testing and deploy to Azure? The URL here only talks about doing it locally: https://docs.appeon.com/ps2022r3/Switching_the_application_to_test_mode_for_JMeter.html#How_to_switch_to_the_test_mode_for_JMeter

When I edit the run mode in snap develop and change to 1, I go back to PowerBuilder to deploy to Azure and it just re-builds and overwrites my change I did to change "RunMode" to 1. So how do I deploy to Azure and keep the runmode at 1 in Applications.json

I figured it out. After changing the application.json, close snapdevelop. Then go to powerbuilder and DEPLOY to Azure not Build&Deploy. It is now working on Azure in test mode.

Have you tried unchecking the "Overwrite server settings" option in the Build tab of the PS project painter?

the What Azure service are you using? VM?

Francisco

Yes VM. and no, why would I uncheck that? I want it to overwrite the server setting so that it can set Run Mode to 1

You made the changes through Snap Develop, right? If PS overwrites the settings then it's writing over the changes you made. Are you making the change on the deployed project or on the C# solution?

If you're deploying to a VM why not directly make the change on the files that are up on the server?
