Hi All

I need some advice, please.

I am trying to utilize AppeonFileService to move file between a file server and a Web server/Powerserver (for my dev, I use localhost.)

I deployed Appeon File Server to IIS (https://bit.ly/2AsSJ7W)

Per Chris Pollach @Appeon, I watched the recommended video about File Service (https://bit.ly/2TVz3QQ)

However, in the workarounds pbl, the login, upload, and download functions in AppeonFileService object all have no script but return a value.

How?

Am I missing something?

If someone could show me some real-life, simple fileservice examples, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Hi CJ;

   Ignore the code in the Appeon_WorkArounds.PBL. The basic method signature is only provided so that the PB Compile (aka Full Build) will work. However, when you deploy this code to PowerServer, the PS Toolkit will add the necessary jScript to make it actually work at run time (Web and/or Mobile). Just pay attention to each method's argument(s) and return value(s) in your calling PowerScript.
