Resolved End of life for the different versions of powerbuilder.

Hi we currently use powerbuilder 2017 R3 - we were going to upgrade to 2019 but had issues with deployment. On looking at the eol it appears 2017 R3 has years to go but 2019 only has eol to August 2023? Can someone advise whey a later release is ending earlier. Would we find too many differences going to 2019 R3?

Look at the eol policy (https://www.appeon.com/products/eol-policy.html).

Some releases have long term support (LTS). This are supported much more longer.

e.g. 2017 R3 has LTS, but 2019 R2 not. This is the reason why 2017 R3 has a later EOL as 2019 R2

2019 R3 is a LTS (Long Term Support) version and is supported until 2028.
