Have you though about re-writing the painters to run within SnapDevelop and dumping the PB IDE? If not feasible, what about bringing in the script editor to the PB IDE so we can have collapsing code blocks and other modern editor features?

Modern code editor is on the roadmap for next major version. Refer to the “Priorities by Version” section of the roadmap page: https://www.appeon.com/developers/roadmap

A GUI development tool doesn't need Dark mode, haha smile

At runtime, it makes sense to theme the UI for users.

SnapDevelop is a scripting tool where it makes sense to theme the IDE for developers.
