Hi Miguel;

   I believe that the current plan is to support the basic features of the new Web Control in R2 as we seem them now in the early beta preview (not that some improvements will not occur in the formal beta) and then add features like you listed in PB2019 R3 after some R2 feedback.

Regards ... Chris

The conference keynote mentioned adding integration between PowerScript and Javascript in R3.

Saludos,

Ricardo

Hola Carlos;

as per the keynote presentations, this control will be enhanced in future releases. callbacks in particular were listed.

i think with agile releases, we will in general see a first release of a new feature that has a core set of capabilities. these then get added on to in the next versions.

Mike is correct. Like some other new features added by Appeon, the initial version may not be feature complete. This allows them to get it out there and get real world feedback so they can make it better on the second try.

Sybase on the other hand would make new features work just well enough to make a good demo. They would never go back and make it useful in the real world.

This is great news Mike, I was already starting to look at CEF implementations of a DIY version of a browser control, Phew ... one less tedious task for me on the list.

@Roland, if you think Sybase was bad (and I do agree) ... what about SAP? I found them to be even worse in support :)
