Resolved Annoying privacy page keeps opening up on Chrome.

Hi,

About this Q&A forum. Lately, when using Google Chrome as a browser, with every click on anything, I'm being confronted with the https://www.appeon.com/privacy-statement.html page opening up. Logged in or not, it doesn't make a difference. When using Firefox, everything works the way it's supposed to.

This is highly annoying. Anyone else having the same experience?

I found the reason and the solution for the problem:

I have the "I don't care about cookies" extension added to Chrome (and Firefox). This extension doesn't prompt you all the time to accept cookies.

Somehow on Chrome this causes the privacy page to constantly open up. I've deactivated the extension for the Q&A site, and now everything works as expected again. Weird ....
