Resolved AEM is not accepting my credentials

Hello,

I am trying to Activate my Trial Licence for PowerServer from my Local AEM. However, when I click the activate button nothing happens. If I click the Activate button several time i see the message:

Failed to log in. Please make sure a valid online license is assigned to the account. Error code: 124, error message: License module not initialized yet.

I am using the same credentials that i use to login to PB with. 

I checked to see I my trial licence is Active - it is.

Not sure what I am doing wrong.

Hi Michael;

   The PowerServer online license activation & checking is basically the same as Appeon PowerBuilder. For this feature to work, you need to make sure that the following is not restricted in your organization's network, as follows:

Protocol: HTTPS
Port: 443
Domain: api.appeon.com and api2.appeon.com

#1. Please restart IIS and see if it resolves the issue.

#2. Please provide us the appeonserver.log and appeonerror.log files, here is the article stating how to generate the log files: http://support.appeon.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/50/11/what-you-can-provide-to-us-for-further-debugging-when-you-run-into-the-appeon-server-related-issues



Note: Other customers with this issue were able to complete the license activation after re-installaing PS (as logged in our ticket system)

- I have restarted IIS several times - no change

- I have uninstalled/installed - no change

I have attached the log files and the error message i am seeing. I hope this helps.

I am in two domains. The new domain will not allow me to activate the AEM Trial licence even though i put in the proxy settings. In the old domain it works fine with the proxy settings.



So this is issue is resolved for now. Until I am licked out of the old domain any way.

  Hmmm ... I wonder if you need to specify a "Network Proxy" for your license activation inside of PS - via AEM, as follows ...

Hi Michael,

This sounds like a licensing issue.

PowerServer uses a separate license from PowerBuilder. Your account must also have a valid PowerServer license assigned to is in order to activate PowerServer.

I invite you to write to our sales team at sales@appeon.com. Once the sales team ID's your Appeon account, we can identify whether you have a valid PowerServer License assigned.
