hi,

 

we have a problem. on the properties tab of the workspace we wish to choose PbNative as a source control. 

but from some reason PbNative does NOT appear there and in fact the source control system dropdown is EMPTY! 

this only happens for one programmer, the other programmer does have PbNative there. 

both programmers have the same version of PB. (PB2017 build 1666)\

what could be the reason for this? isn't PbNative installed automatically with the PB Installastion??

Hi Vered;

  Yes, every PB installation should have a PB Native option. Sounds like your developer may have had a corruption in their MS-Windows registry. You should be able to restore the PB Native option as follows:

1) Shutdown PB IDE

2) Run REGEDIT

3) Add the following entry ...

4) Restart PB IDE

thanks a lot for your answer!

turs out that the programmer who didn't have pbNative installed PB with custom setting and just didn't choose to install the source control... (he didn't remember this...)

he re-installed Pb and now the problem is solved.

sometimes the most simple option (that you didn't think of) is what happend :)
