Hello everyone,

I creating a report that at the bottom shows the total of the values shown on the top.

When I run the report on Famous, the second page of the report have the two blue lines and extra data generated that I do not need there. (Please see below in yellow)

Could you please letting me know how delete that extra information and lines at the end of the report?

Hi, Joizeth -

It's difficult to be certain without seeing the raw data returned by the report's SQL SELECT statement, but it appears as though there are some rows in the result set that do not fall under the report's grouping criteria. Therefore, the report lists these rows in the detail band of another group.

I think if you can run the SQL SELECT statement in a plain, ungrouped report that utilizes the same column sort criteria, you will find/see this "rouge" data that is being retrieved and included in the result set.

Best regards, John

Hi Joizeth;

   If I am not mistaken (or thinking of the wrong name) the "Famous" application is one written in PowerBuilder. If so, please contact the developers of this system for help with this report as they probably also understand the underlying DBMS data structures & values. Without this knowledge, I do not think that we can help you here.

Regards ... Chris

Looks like your report is only wanting to show product so you will need to add that constraint to your SQL.  Not knowing what report you are running this from the typical column name would be something with ...TrxType.  You only want rows with a '1'.

Open up the footer band of the report, and each of the trailer bands, and expand them by at least 4 inches. Maybe more.
Look for columns or expressions that have been hidden in the band down below where the normal visible portion of the report resides.
Also, ensure that you have SHOW INVISIBLES enabled.

May be the SQL is retrieving 'extra' rows with all empty columns except PackOut - Kg.   Check the result data by running the query in some other query editor.
