InfoMaker 11 (and earlier) had files imstyle###.pbl and imstylecontemporary###.pbl that contained ancestor objects for IM forms.

I'm wondering where they are stored in newer versions. If I open the source code of forms in tutor_im.pbl using a code search tool, they are inherited from w_pbstyle_mst_det_many21. They open fine in IM 2019 so there must be some hidden location, perhaps an IDE DLL that is really a PBD renamed?

I also see no place in the IM to set an alternate stylelib.

The reason I ask is that I want to be able to regenerate IM libraries using a program I wrote using ORCA. It won't work unless I have a complete library list.

I see imstylecontemp190.pbl and imstyletradition190.pbl.

I found mention of a stylelib setting in im.ini in 12.5 docs but my im.ini doesn't have that. Is that something that must be set manually in im.ini?

Hi Roland;

Looks like the address to the Style Libs is no longer in the IM.ini file of the Appeon releases.

I believe that both IM2017 & 2019 get this location from the O/S registry now.

Regards ... Chris

On the Library List window it has the Style and Query tabs. I never even noticed the tab name was style. I set the style library and now it is in im.ini as StyleLib in the Application section.
