Hi Chris,

Resolved

https://www.appeon.com/standardsupport/track/view?id=1865

PowerServer doesn't support using ODBC Driver to connect the PostgreSQL,
please use the PostgreSQL native driver to resolve this kind of issue.
https://www.appeon.com/support/documents/appeon_online_help/2017/
server_configuration_guide_for_net/supported_database_drivers.html

Our .Net server is using the Npgsql which is the .NET data provider for
PostgreSQL. you are not need to install extra driver.

Please go to AEM > Server > Resources > Data Source > %your data source% to
change the data source type from 'ODBC Driver' to 'PostgreSQL native driver'.

Regards

Antony

I use the native driver all the time (as you can see from my previous screen shots) but, the ODBC driver works as well for me (FWIW).

Hi Anthony;

   PowerServer does support ODBC. I have PS2017 connected to PG10 & 11 via 64bit ODBC client driver. The key is to remember though is to install the 64bit driver during the PG installation when in the "Stack Builder" phase of the install.

FYI ...

Hi Anthony;

  FYI: No problems connecting to PG version 10, 10.5 or the latest 11.1 when the 64bit driver is installed via PowerServer 2017 ...

Hi Anthony;

   Make sure that you install both the 32bit driver (for PB) and the 64bit PostGreSQL driver (for PowerServer). Note that the 32bit driver is only installed by default. You must manually select the 64bit driver as well when running the DBMS installer. Make sure that you also elect to install the "Stack Builder" utility as well. That is where the driver selection is ....

Regards ... Chris
