Hi All,

we have application which is developed in PB11.5 and recently we migrated it to PB2017. Please advise, where can I download all required DLL's to run this application in windows 10 environment.

Thank you.

All the runtime files are located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Appeon\Shared\PowerBuilder.

Which files are needed can be found in the help topic 'PowerBuilder runtime files'. In the Contents tree look under:

Application Techniques, Deployment Techniques, Deploying Applications and Components

Try running the PowerBuilder Runtime Packager app that should be installed from your PB2017 install.  Select whatever options you might be using and run it.  It will build a CLI file that you can run and install to a folder.  That folder will contain all of the DLLs etc that you need for deployment.

Hi Kevin;

Unfortunately, the PB Packager does not comply with "all" the DLL's you might need. For example, if you search the PB Help file for the keyword "Visual C++ runtime libraries" - you will find that you might have to manually copy such files as "msvcr100.dll " or "Microsoft.Ink.dll" as a few examples. These DLL's are not included in the PB Packager (I am not sure why as there were many requests to Sybase and SAP to include these missing DLL's in the packager). These extra files will depend on what PB features your App(s) are using. So you need to read the PB Help carefully and certainly perform a deployment QA test before heading to production.
