Good morning,

I want to resize my datawindows depending on the dimension of the screen.

all this in Powerbuilder 2022R2.

The word "resize" can mean many things. Can you please be more specific as to the kind of functionality you are wanting?

Are you looking to only stretch the outer dimensions of the DataWindow Control within the window, but nothing inside? The length of the column DataWindow objects within the Data Object? Alter the dimensions and point size of the DataWindow objects (a "zoom in/out" effect)? 

Is your app built upon any PB framework?

I've tried having the DataWindow adjust it's zoom level based on the current verses original size of the control. Personally I thought it looked like crap. You can allow the user to adjust the zoom manually but I don't think doing it automatically is a good idea. The following will set the zoom percent to 50:



dw1.Object.DataWindow.Zoom = 50

And Can i run my application for the first time to install this .msi and then execute the program ? Can i do that in Powerbuilder 2022?
