What does it mean C#DW in powerbuilder roadmap?

Will it be possible to use DW visual control in some .NET application e.g. like it was with Datawindow.NET?

Thanks in adv.

Hi,
PB 2018 will feature C# Web API and .NET Core support, which will allow for sharing code or DataWindows with other .NET applications.
Cheers,
Marco

Sounds very cool, we will be able to run C#DW on Linux and Mac OS? Because .NET Core apps do?

best regards

Benjamin

Hi Sergei;

   There are currently no immediate plans to offer a visual C# .Net Assembly feature in PB. The .Net Assembly feature scheduled for PB 2018 will be for non-visual use only. The current road-map for PB 2019 is also to focus more of the UI and Cloud feature sets.

  If you consider this to be of prime importance to you & your organization, please let us know by emailing your suggestion to sales@appeon.com.
