Hi team,

Recently we upgarded Appeon PoerBuilder Standard Edition Version 2019 Build 2170. But while connecting to TFS we are getting below error
"Microsoft visual studio team Explorer or it's toola are not installed or registered. Please install or repair Team Foundation Client Installation"

Below is the one we used to install before connecting to TFS
Visual_Studio_Team_Foundation_Server_MSSCCI_Provider_(64-bit)

Please let us know your inputs

Thanks,
Aaron

Michael is right, that's why I provided you with the 2013 version. I do think though that the 2015 version might also work.

Maybe it's a good idea to google a bit and see how to install TFS for powerbuilder. You had it working at your company before, but obviously someone forgot to install things the correct way again.

Cheers

Hi,

Thank you all for your time and help.

I have installed Team Explorer 2013 and 32 bit Visual Studio Team Foundation Server MSSCCI Provider. I’m able to connect TFS and It’s working fine with VS2019

Thanks again!

Aaron

Hi,

I think you have to install the 32 bit version of the MSSCCI provider, since the powerbuilder IDE is 32 bit.

See attached for the 32 bit version (zipped because I'm not allowed to upload an MSI)

Thanks for your quick response. I have tried your attachment (32 bit) now getting similar error which is related to 2013

"Microsoft visual studio 2013 Team Explorer or it's tool are not installed or registered. Please install or repair Team Foundation Client Installation"

By the way I'm assuming you're using your own TFS server or are you on Cloud?

Since you are running your own TFS server, you have the same setup as we do:

You can install the teamexplorer 2013 / 2015 perfectly alongside you VS 2019.

We use VS Community 2019 and have Team Explorer 2013 installed
