Hello,
We have a concern regarding the use of PB Ultimate suite objects, we have been redirected to your services.

We are using an old version of PB Ultimate suite (29398-1 acquired on 19/01/2012) with Appeon PowerBuilder 2019 R3.

Up until now, this hasn't caused us any problems. In fact, for the past few days, we've been experiencing display instabilities in development with the Toolbar Strip and Tab Control objects, but we haven't encountered any problems with the generated executable.

These instabilities are characterized by the random disappearance of button and text visuals. The objects are instantiated because, when the mouse is moved over the area, the tooltips are displayed and the actions are triggered when the strip is clicked.

I've attached two screenshots, the first when it works and the second when we lose the visual.

Have you ever encountered this problem? If so, how can you solve it?

Thanks for your help.

You should upgrade to the latest version of PB Ultimate Suite and if the problem persists, contact their support.

Chris,

Thanks for your reply. In parallel to this message, I have also contacted our reseller (Novalys) of "PB Ultimate Suite".

So far, no response from them.

Sincerely,

Jean-Louis

if your version of PB Ultimate Suite is from 2012 , then it could not have been used/tested with any PB version released after that.

Hi Jean-louis;

  Suggestion: Since this looks like it might be a 3rd party issue ... I would contact the Ultimate Suite vendor about this unexpected behaviour. Just my $0.02.

Regards ... Chris
