Hi Yosi;

  This is an old, old compatibility setting still found in the Project Painter's General tab page. Its called " Windows Classic Style ", as follows:

FWIW: Personally, I would not encourage the use of this option - especially if compiling for modern MS-Windows versions like W10 (Food for thought).

Note: PB 2017 does not support Windows XP.

Regards ... Chris

Is it okay to compile an existing PB 12.5 application with the Windows classic style property checked on the General tab of the Project object for to run on the Win 10 platform?  The reason for asking is that our app looks flat and dark (especially when buttons are disabled) when we ran the compiled 32 bit version from Win 7 on Win 10.  It may take some time before we go to PB 2017 so if we cannot do this then the clients will not like it.

Does PB 2017 have a similar look to the Windows classic style on Win 7?  Is there a way to change it to the classic style in PB 2017?

Thanks,

Pauline
