Anyone else seen this?  Once I apply a theme to an application and then run it, my PB IDE and some applications now have 'black' menu dropdowns.  See examples:

In the PB IDE

In the 'themed' application

Moving the cursor shows the menu choices

Even with the theme removed it still is happening

Now it has spread to Notepad++

It won't go away until I reboot the machine...

I'm running a Dell laptop, Windows 10...

Hi Matt;

That has been reported on some older Appeon PB versions. What PB version & build are you currently using?

Regards ... Chris

FWIW: I have that same version & build loaded on my W10 and W11 test machines and the Themes do not have that O/S reaction at all.

What display settings are you using? Also, are your machines Real or Virtual? Are you using RDT or Citrix?

Sorry not much of a help probably, but I think something is wrong with your Win10 installation. ( try "sfc /scannow" ... ). Do you have any dark mode settings in windows? Try setting to light theme.

On this page, one user says McAfee was causing the problem, but his problem was not exactly the same. It did involve contextual menus: https://superuser.com/questions/950409/windows-10-context-menus-show-up-blank

Probably not the solution. Maybe you could create a new user on your pc and try with that one.

regards

The svc /scannow didn't correct the issue. Tried using 'High Contrast' white settings but still had the issue.

Well, it was worth a try. Do you maybe have some PATH setting to an older runtime?

regards.

When you upgraded the newer build, did you also copy the (maybe changed) themes on your existing ones? I'm not sure if there would be any differences, but I would definitely check.

Yes, you cannot copy the Themes folder forward on each upgrade. It must be replaced with the new one that came with the IDE installation.
