Hi team,

I could not find any info regarding this. I am having issues opening the function painter prototype dropdown panel. When clicking on Show/Hide Prototype button on top right corner.. the prototype dropdown panel is not showing.

It is happening on both new and existing functions. I have tried setting Layout to default, also tried closing and opening the workspace, restore/maximize painter window but none of that helping.

Any advice how to restore the dropdown much appreciated. Thanks.

 Regards,

Kiat

Another thing that happens with some regularity is that the PREVIEW PANE in the DW PAINTER gets closed.
When this occurs nothing can be retrieved.
Simply set the VIEW/LAYOUT?DEFAULT to restore the Preview Pane and all will return to normal.

Ok after opening/closing PowerBuilder workspace several times and setting the layout to Default in function painter, now it is opening again. Thanks.

I have had the same problem. In my case the issue was that the view->structure was open for the window layout, and it makes an untitled tab. This layout don't let open the protoype for both events and functions. Just closing this tab makes that everything work again. I'm using PB19 R3.
