Hello,

Any PB version, currently using PB 2022 R3 build 3289

Need to call a window as a response window from a button clicked event and as a normal main window from menu.   Is that possible?  Or any alternative way(s) to achieve this?

Inheritance? Have not tried this myself, but…

Assuming you have a main/sheet window already, inherit a new window from the main window and set the window type of the inherited window to response.

Yes, that should work fine. I do this all over the place in my STD Framework window inheritance hierarchy with no issues. ;-)
