Resolved Theme speed tips ?

Hi.

We have some windows containing a lot of graphical controls.

Applying a standard theme may take several seconds when the window opens.

Do you have any tips to improve the speed of applying themes ?

I have not been able to reproduce your issue.

Can it be reproduced both when you run it within the IDE and as deployed EXE? Are you using PB 2019 R3?

If you test with PB's built-in Demo case, can this performance issue be reproduced?

If you can only reproduce this issue with your application, I suggest you submit a bug to the Appeon Support website (https://www.appeon.com/standardsupport/newbug) and upload a small case that can reproduce the issue.

Hi Ken.

It's a PowerBuilder R3 application, the problematic windows contain over 150 graphical controls with lots of datawindows and data...

I will look at your demo case application.

How do themes work?

Is the theme applied when opening on all objects whether they are visible or not ?
