Resolved The ICON in my PowerClient project doesn't appear.

Good Afternoon,

I have a new PowerClient project wich is a copy from another PowerClient project and after the deploy of this new Application. I have installed and the dekstop application appears without Icon.

I have tried eveyrthing that Chris proprose in this thread:

But when i installed locally and in differents clients, the dekstop app appears without Icon.

Hi Edinson ;

   I just had this happen in PB2021 build 1509 for the first time but, only on this latest build of the PB IDE. I resolved the issue by moving the .ICO file from the "Images" section of the "External Files" tab and then adding the App icon to the "Files Preloaded in Uncompressed Format" section. After that change & re-publishing the PC App - the App icon appeared OK.   :-)

  Note: You might have to uninstall the PC App first to clear the old empty icon in the App and its short-cut.  HTH

Hi Edinson,

Please note you can select the ico file from the files configured to preload in the External Files tab, and you can add files under the current application folder only to the External Files tab.

Since your PowerClient project is a copy from another PowerClient project, please make sure the same ico file exists on the current application folder, otherwise, it will be removed from the External Files tab.
