Agreed. The main list window opened would be on the left and subsequent "detail" tab should be opened to the right. The user then easily look to the left most tab to go back to the list to open another detail tab.

Perhaps we can have a toggle to switch from one to the other (in design mode not in code, or at least make the default, "Open to the Right"

I noticed this as well and asked Appeon to provide an option to reverse the order so that the first sheet opened is always on the left and the latter ones open to the right.  Thats the way most of the other tabbed mdi applicatios i know of operate.

I don't know the answer, but just to mention that I made an enhancement request to be able to "pin" a tab. In my opinion, tabs should by default be added to the right, instead of the left, to stop all tabs moving positions all the time. (just like any webbrowser does).
