Resolved System tree don't show workspace

Hi community,

I currently use PB 12.5 Build 2511 and I have the following inconvenience:

When opening some Workspace, the System Tree does not show the workspace objects, but instead shows the Drives of my PC.

Any ideas?

Right click and choose 'Set Root' from the popup menu. Then choose 'Current Workspace' on the window.

Thank you community for the quick answers, as Roland says the System Tree is there but the root is set in My Computer instead of Workspace.



I did what Roland says and it worked perfect, although I have to do it every time I open this Workspace, it doesn't happen to me with others.

That is because its not the IDE "WorkSpace" system Tree. What you are looking at is the treeview that should only appear in the Library painter. Not on the IDE frame itself.

It clearly is the System Tree set to My Computer. Notice the two horizontal lines at the top and the lack of titlebar. You can also see the System Tree toolbar button is active.



Why that is happening is the mystery. I haven't figured out where the setting is stored.

Hi Frankz;

  This should work to restore the System Tree for you to factory ...

1) Close your PB  IDE

2) Locate your "working" PB.ini file. It should be located in the following folder:

    C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Local\Sybase\PowerBuilder 12.5

3) Open the PB.ini in NotePad and locate the [PB] section

4) Look for the key entry "DOCK="

5) Remove the DOCK line all together

6) Save the changed PB.ini file

7) Re-Start your IDE

   Your IDE should now be back to factory installation standard with the System Tree back in the top left corner working normally.

The System Tree is there, the problem is the root is set to My Computer instead of Current Workspace.
