Resolved SySAM Software Download

Hi All,

Does anyone has a copy of the SySAM software and willing to share? We have just upgraded to AVD (Azure Virtual Desktop) machine and our standalone license for PB 12.1 does not work anymore.

Hi,

If you open up your licence file, there should be the name of the server and (at least) one MAC address for the network card.

If you can manage to rename your VM server to have the same name and change the network's mac address to the one in the licence file, it should work.

You can use a utility like TMAC to change the MAC address. https://technitium.com/tmac/

Hi Neil ... The other option is to upgrade to Appeon PB IDE with it's floating cloud license. That would alleviate your old SySam issues, dovetail easily into Azure & put you on a supported version of PB. ;-)

@Neil: Hmm then yes, probably the best option is to upgrade like Chris and Armeen have mentioned. The only way around it would be to do your development on a local PC and then upload executables to your AVD, but I guess that's not what you'd want.
