Resolved Strange behavior richtextEdit column

Hi,

I noticed strange behavior edit column with StyleType RichText. When I try edit text in that column, if there was no text, it is OK, editchanged is triggered and after change focus on other column Itemchanged is triggered as well. But if there was any saved text, editchanged is not triggered after first character and when I click on some other column, Itemchanged is not triggered and new character disappear. After second character it is OK. If I use Ctrl+V with some text, it is same, no editchanged no itemchanged and new text disapper after changing focus on other column. I don't know, how I can fix it.

I have PB Version 2022, Build 1900

I contacted Appeon support and this problem is resolved in newest version PowerBilder.

I don't think, we do something with data buffer, but I will try make some simple aplication to test it.

Hi Miroslav

From what you describe there is something preventing the text entering the buffer forthe first character or paste. Do you have any code in events that is messing with the column data buffer?

If not can you create a simple test case and if so I suggest you raise a case with Appeon support.
