I have an issue posted by my client regarding spin Editmask contol with data value as numeric and display value as String (for displaying month using code table). It is expected to 1 month ahead or after on single click, and it does work. But sometimes if we keep clicking consistently on either up or down arrow key, it skips one month and jumps to next or previous month of the actual next or previous month. There is no code written on Editmask contol.

Does anyone know about this issue?

Your reply to this is highly appreciated.

Hi Santosh;

You have not given us much to go on. Can you tell us ...

  • O/S version & build
  • PB version & build
  • Is this truly an EditMask Control vs EditMask DWO Edit Style
  • Provide a simple repeatable Test Case PB App

Regards ... Chris

Hi Chris,

Thanks for your concerns.

Below is the information you require :

O/S version & build - Windows 10 Enterprise

PB version & build - 2017 R3 build : 1880

Is this truly an EditMask Control vs EditMask DWO Edit Style - It is an EditMask control with Spin property checked and Code Table is used (for Text Months as Display value and Numeric Month as Data value)

Provide a simple repeatable Test Case PB App - Please tell me if it's not sufficient - you can please try using above settings.

Hi.

One thing that you must pay attention is that if your click takes longer than usual then it can increase or decrease more than one "steps". So your clicks should be fast and concrete. This may also be related to the mouse...

Andreas.

Hi Andreas ... That is a good point. This might indeed be Santosh's issue.
