PowerBuilder 2017 R2 build 1769

PowerBuilder 2019 R3 build 2703

We are a team of a few developers. Right now we are migrating our PB 2017 R2 application to PB 2019 R3. So we have both versions installed on our PCs. I am able to open as many PB 2017 and 2019 IDEs as I like on my PC, but everyone else is told they can only open 1 at a time unless they log off of the other one first.

Am I just lucky, or is everyone else unlucky? I mean which way is it supposed to work. According to some docs I found, PowerBuilder 2019 R3 was updated so it should allow multiple versions at the same time .But it doesn't seem it's working that way for everyione else in my team???

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks!

You are just lucky!  Please read documentation carefully, this change applies to PowerBuilder 2019 R3 and newer versions (not older versions like 2017).  https://docs.appeon.com/pb2019r3/whats_new/License_enhancements.html

maybe you have a different account in use for your 2017 than your 2019?
