Hi.

One of our customers has a mix of Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga and MS Surface laptops.

They run most of their software, ours included, in MS Remote Apps.

When scrolling the datawindows in our application with the Surface, nothing happens when it's done easy and slowly - barely moving the fingers (two-finger scroll).

But when they throw/flick more agressively, our application suddenly scrolls multiple pages at the time and sometime all the way to the top/bottom of the list.

All other applications (NAV, Word, Excel and so on) scrolls 100% normal.

When scrolling with a Lenovo everything looks good, also our application.

There is no improvement when running our application locally, so I guess we can rule out Remote Apps as a source for the behaviour.

The main difference which we have discovered is that the Surface has a "Precision Touchpad" and the Lenovo has not:

Is this a known issue to anyone on this forum, and is there any solution to this?

This is not a critical error/feature, but it would be great to have an answer to our customers using this type of Touchpad.

br,

Bjarne

Hi Bjarne,

I would make sure I'm running latest fixes to the precision touch drivers.

Unfortunately my Surface Laptop lost its screen yesterday so it will be a week or so before I can test myself on a new Surface machine.
