Hi,

We're migrating our applications to Powerbuilder 2022 (from 2021). When testing the runtime version we find that when closing windows including a RTE control (with data), the application will get a Kernelbase.dll fault if the AtlAuxiliary.dll file is missing from the runtime.
Presence of AtlAuxiliary.dll will fix this problem.

This is not a big issue, but should AtlAuxiliary.dll be mandatory in this case?

Best regards,

Geir Vangen

Hi.

As documented, AtlAuxiliary.dll is needed for InkEdit and InkPicture support. Are you sure you don't have any of those controls in the same window?

Andreas.

Hi Andreas,

I saw that AtlAuxiliary.dll is needed for InkEdit and InkPicture support.

The application mentioned has no references to these to objects.

Another thing here is that if I leave the RTE control alone without any content, there is no error when closing the window. But once I add some text to the RTE control and close the window, I'll get the Kernelbase.dll failure.

I would advise to open a support ticket for that.
