I have done migration from 2019 R3 to 2022 R3.In our application we have used certain RTE controls which has been inherited from pfc windows like w_rte_detail and w_rte_detail_text,when i try to  launch the application and navigated to windows which has RTE controls,when i try to open and close the window without doing any modifications i am getting do you want to save changes messages while closing the RTE window in PB2022 R3.But it is working correctly in PB2019 R3.

Kindly provide your thoughts on this.

Hi Chris,

No we dint migrated the PFC,we are still using the older version of PFC only.Kindly suggest us how to resolve this without migrating the PFC classes.

In PB2022 while setting the rte_Notes.PaperHeight = ll_Scale ;rte_notes.modified set to true hence we are getting do you want to save changes message

 But in PB2019 when we set rte_Notes.PaperHeight = ll_Scale it doesn't fire the rte_notes.modified event and hence it remains to false so it doesn't prompt do you want to save changes messages while opening and clossing the window

Kinldy provide your thoughts on this

Thanks,

Tharani S

Hi Tharani ;

I am not a PFC Guru by far. So I am now hoping that some PFC knowledgeable developers will jump in now to help you further.

Hi Tharani ;

  When you upgraded to PB 2022, did you also upgrade the PFC to the 2022 version as well?
