We migrated a very large PB application to 2017 R3 Build 1858 from PB 12.5. The migration went surprising well except for one small but critical part of the application. We use a Richtext Datawindow that simply does an INSERTDOCUMENT() of a MS WORD RTF template with several merged fields and then a retrieve.  The templates merged fields are populated with the appropriate data.  A Richtext Edit Control is not used as part of this solution. In PB 2017 the document inserts (can see it displayed) and a row of data is retrieved but the data is not merged into the documents merged fields. We re-created the datawindow in PB 2017 to eliminate any datawindow migration issues but still no luck. This is a show stopper for our application moving to PB 2017.

Hi Al;

  Please open a Support Ticket for your issue and provide a simple test case.

Note that in PB2018, Appeon will be providing the previous TX Control for RTE feature support. This was the same 3rd party control used in PB versions <= 12.6. In PB2018, you will now have the choice to use either the new TE Control or the previous TX Control in your Apps.
