I'm changing the length of some database columns that are on a lot of reports to allow 40 instead of 20 characters. To avoid changing the portrait-mode tabular reports to landscape, I'm leaving the width of the report field the same, and changing both it and the datawindow.detail band to have Autosize Height on.

The problem is that with some data, in some reports, while the contents only wrap onto two lines, it seems like enough space is being left for 3 lines of text, so there's extra blank space before the next report row. The same data in other reports only takes up the space of 2 lines. I can't really see a pattern of when that happens or doesn't happen.

Anybody have any ideas about solutions? We will live with this if necessary but it looks a bit odd and thus makes us look a bit unprofessional.
