Resolved Problem PB 2022 TX Text Control

Hallo all,

I installed the files for my software on a network share.

When I start my software on a computer from this share, everything regarding TX Text Control works fine.

On another computer doing the same I get a message, that TX Text Control cannot be displayed because of missing files.

Both have Win11, the one which is not working is on a MAC using parallels.

 

Can anybody help concerning this problem?

Did you copy all the TextControl runtime files?  tx30.dll, tx30_css.dll, tx30_doc.dll, tx30_dox.dll, tx30_htm.dll, tx30_ic.dll, tx30_obj.dll, tx30_pdf.dll, tx30_rtf.dll, tx30_tls.dll, tx30_wnd.dll, tx30_xlx.dll, tx30_xml.dll, tx4ole30.ocx, mfc120u.dll, msvcr120.dll, pbrtc.dll, pbtxtext.dll

Thanks for your help, mfc120u.dll was missing. Seems that you dont need in on every PC (or it is loaded there from somewhere else)

Hi Bernard et Al;

Please read the "runtime" deployment requirements in the PB help very carefully in PB2022. These have totally changed in PB2022 vs PB2021 (and older).
